This is the first time we begin to check on the condition of your battery. Car batteries usually last around three to four years, depending on your driving habits.
Every 60,000 Miles
Now that you’ve hit your first major milestone, drivers will typically need to replace the following:
- Spark plugs
- Transmission fluid
- Tires
Also at this point, you should have your battery fully replaced or at least cleaned. It’s a good idea to also replace your brake pads and internal rotors. After traveling this many miles, it’s important to keep up with your tires and their health. Ask for a full inspection of your tires, specifically for any major signs of wear of damage.
Every 75,000 Miles
At this point in your vehicle’s journey, it’s important to inspect your cooling systems, hoses, and suspension system. By this time, you’ve had your X3 for a several of years, so it’s important to consistently inspect/replace brake pads, calipers, and rotors.
